The flag of the Kolokotronis family during the 1821 Revolution. The same flag had been used by the Mavromikhalis family since the 1769 revolution, by Melissinos Makarios and many others. Cypriot fighters under Hadjigeorgios also hoisted a white flag with a blue cross, which, pitted with holes, is now kept at the National Historical Museum, Room C.
